Euro News Round-Up: Week Ending 10/12

The 3DS has had its best ever week, meaning you can all stop saying that it was a bad idea. Yes the release was rushed, but 70,000 units sold in one week cannot be a bad thing. Besides that, we have a lot of new downloads this week, and a new chart topper for the 3DS.

3DS is the best selling console in the UK

Who said the 3DS was struggling? The combined weight of Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 have led to an incredible 70,000 units sold last week, prompting news that the 3DS is on the verge of selling out across the nation, with the Flame Red in particular already sold out. Retailers are claiming that they can cope with this sudden surge of sales, but it would be wise to get one sooner rather than later, especially if you have your eye on a particular colour. Incidentally, the 3DS is on track to break DS sales records too!
